Why we built this

India has over 800,000 retail pharmacies. Most use either paper registers or software built in the 1990s. During peak hours, customers queue while pharmacists struggle with slow billing screens, manual H1 register entries, and shared login credentials that make compliance impossible.

We built BitMed to solve one problem: speed. A 5-item prescription bill should take 30 seconds, not 2 minutes. Everything else — compliance, inventory, reporting — is built around that goal.
