When to use this: once per label stationery you own — match the template to the physical sheet, choose what prints, reuse it forever.
Before you start: measure your label sheet (label width × height, labels per row/ column, margins) or have its product code.
Steps
-
Labels → Templates → New.
- Step 1 — What is this label for? Choose Product Label (one code per product) or Batch Label (one code per batch, so it can carry batch-specific MRP/expiry).
- Step 2 — Choose a starting point:
- Product Label: Shelf Price Tag (name + MRP + barcode), Product Barcode (name + barcode only), or Blank.
- Batch Label: Batch Label (name + batch MRP + expiry + barcode), Price & Expiry (same, no barcode), or Blank.
Picking a starter (or Blank) drops you straight into the designer — there's no separate "configure" step first.
-
Set the size — a preset, or custom width × height, orientation, and (under Advanced) margins/DPI — to match your physical stationery.
-
Design — drag or tap the fields you want onto the canvas: product name, MRP, batch, expiry, barcode, your store name, and more. Rename the template, then Save.
-
Preview one label before you save (click eye icon).
-
Print one label before committing a box of stationery — check alignment against the physical labels and that the barcode scans, then run your full batch (→ LBL-03).
Common problems
- Everything prints shifted — template dimensions don't match the stationery, or the printer dialog isn't at 100% scale (→ LBL-03 printer box).
