When to use this: An update banner appears in BitMed, or the app asks you to refresh to continue.
When an update is available

Look for the banner at the top of the app: “A new version is available.”

Finish any work in progress, then select Update Now. Follow any prompts about work that has not synced before the app reloads.

When an update is required
If BitMed shows a full-screen Update Required message, select Refresh to Update to continue. This is a separate screen from the update banner above.
Force Re-sync is a separate action
The second screenshot shows the Sync Status dialog, not an app-update prompt. Force Re-sync erases local data and downloads it again. Read the warning carefully: work on this device that has not uploaded can be permanently discarded. Do not use Force Re-sync just to install an app update.
