When to use this: you want to know which products sold, how much, and for what value over a period — not to look up one specific bill. To find or reprint a single bill instead, use the Sales screen (→ RPT-01).
Steps
-
Open Reports → Sales Report. Click Reports in the left menu, then click Sales Report from the list.
-
Pick the period (1). Click the From / To date buttons at the top right — picking a date reloads the table immediately, back to page 1; you don't need to click Refresh afterward.
-
Read the table (6). One row per product: Product, Category, Qty sold, Value, Tax, Discount, and Bills — the number of distinct bills that product appeared on. Read the note above the table (5) first: "Bills counts distinct bills, so it does not add up: a bill containing several products is counted once in the total but appears against each of its products in the rows above." A PAGE TOTAL row at the bottom adds up Qty, Value, Tax and Discount for the page you're viewing only — but its Bills cell is the distinct-bill count for the whole date range, marked "(all pages)" so it isn't mistaken for a page total too.
-
Page through it (2). The page-size dropdown offers 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 rows per page; use the arrow buttons to move between pages.
-
Export (4). Use Export CSV, Export Excel or Export PDF — every format always covers the whole date range, not just the page on screen, and repeats the Bills note as well.
-
Refresh (3) at the top right to re-fetch the same range and page — for example, to pick up new sales since you opened the report.
